Periodicals are all located on the Lower Floor. As you descend the stairs you will see a large painting of George Washington directly in front of you. The Periodicals Collection is stored on both sides of this picture. Magazines are shelved alphabetically by the title of the magazine. The beginning of the alphabet starts to the left of the stairs. |
All magazines are circulating except for the most recent issues. The current issue can be distinquished by the plastic casing protecting it. Current issues will also be on display, facing outward.

For most magazines, a year's worth of issues are available. Back issues for each periodical will be housed in red filing boxes to the side of the current issue. Click here for a list of periodicals that we carry. |

Newspapers are kept on the table directly below the George Washington picture. Papers from the last three days are kept. We carry the Providence Journal, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Boston Globe. Newspapers are non-circulating.
