Newsletter Annual Reports New Book This April, the Board of Directors of The Providence Athenaeum will launch the publication of a book commemorating its 250th anniversary, Inquire Within: a social history of The Providence Athenaeum since 1753 . The book was researched and written by author Jane Lancaster, Ph.D.. Karen Philippi's photography and Malcolm Grear's visually stunning design will compel the reader to rediscover the hidden treasures housed within the Athenaeum's walls. The book will be available at the library's circulation desk (no phone or postal orders), at select local bookstores and through Oak Knoll Press in mid-April 2003.
