Consortium with Rhode Island School of Design
The Providence Athenaeum and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Library have shared an
on-line catalog since 1998, when the Athenaeum started to automate the collection.
Individual and Household
members at the Athenaeum have borrowing privileges at the RISD Library, and full-time RISD students, faculty and
administration are entitled to borrow materials from the Athenaeum. Athenaeum members will be required to show a
photo ID when borrowing from the RISD library.
The Fleet Library at RISD is located at 15 Westminster Street, at the corner of Memorial Blvd.
