Valentine Madness: A Family Workshop

Saturday, February 11, 2:00pm

Red hearts, lacey doilies, ribbon, glitter and more! From the most basic folded heart to crazy collage or pop-up cards; surprise your valentine with a handmade token of your LOVE!

All ages (an adult must accompany children). All are welcome. $5.00 craft fee. Space is limited. Please call Lindsay at 421-6970 to register.

 

3rd Annual Providence Children's Film Festival

Thursday, February 16 - Tuesday, February 21

Six days of incredible independent and international films for children, teens and families!

Family Movie Night

Friday, February 24, 5:30pm

Love and adventure are in the air in this classic animated film! As always there will be pizza, juice boxes and ice cream treats.

For ages 5 and up. $5.00 snack fee per child; adults free. Due to licensing restrictions we cannot list the films we are showing, for the title of the movie and to RSVP call Lindsay at 421-697.

 

Children's Film Club

Sunday, February 26, 2:00pm

This is a media literacy program for children interested in films and the film making process is presented by The Providence Children’s Film Festival and The Providence Athenaeum. Club meetings will include films that are selected to illustrate a specific technical aspect of film making. The viewing will be followed by discussion. This month we will be viewing a 1940’s film that was a favorite of two famous contemporary directors. This film won awards for cinematography, art direction and special effects.

For ages 10 and up. $3.00 snack fee per child per meeting. Due to licensing restrictions we cannot list the films we are showing, for the title of the movie and to RSVP call Lindsay at 421-697.
